We shall make an early start to visit Tres Chimbadas lagoon. On the way there we will probably see many parrots and macaws flyiong over the river, as well as Black Skimmer, Pied Lapwing, Collared Plover, Sand-Colored Nightwahk, Capped Heron, Jabiru Stork and Roadside Hawk. To get to the lake one has to walk a 1km trail that goes through excellent Bamboo. Birds here include White-lined Antbirds, Goedi's Anbird, Large-headed Flatbill and many more. On the lake we shall use a huge paddle catamaran to move around. Birds include Anhinga, Sungrebe, Muscovy Duck, Greater Ani, Ringed, Amazon, Green and Red-and-Green Kingfishers, Rufescent Tiger-Heron; Agami Heron, Unicolored Blackbird, Azure Gallinule and many more. With some luck locate the resident group of Giant Otters on the lake.
