Day 1. Drive to Yaviza boat to Real, taxi and walk to Rancho Frio Ranger station where staying overnight.
Day 2. walk to Rancho Plástico camp at 600m. Choco Screech-Owl and Spot-crowned Barbet en route. Camp.
Day 3. Trek to Cerro Pirre camp at 1115m. Pirre Hummingbird, Pirre Bush-Tanager and Pirre Warbler, Russet-crowned Quail-Dove and Varied Solitaire. Camp.
Day 4. Pirre ridge birding. Beautiful Treerunner, Violet-throated Toucanet and Green-naped Tanager.
Day 5: Trek to Rancho Plastico. Yellow-browed Shrike-Vireo and Choco Tinamou.
Day 6. Walk to Rancho Frio. Nigth at Ranger Station
Day 7. La Antena trail. Viridian Dacnis. Walk and taxi to El Real. Señora Savina’s guesthouse.
Day 8. Boat to Llano Largo on the Rio Tuira for Dusky-backed Jacamar and Double-banded Greytail, then to Yaviza and drive to Panama city, with a stop at Torti restaurant for hummingbird feeders. Night in Panama City or late international flights.
