Red-ruffed Fruitcrow can also be seen in the Horto Florestal.  At night we shall look out for Rusty-barred Owl and Long-trained Nightjar.

Day 12. Birding on Pedra do Baú road. The habitat is similar to the lower part of the Agulhas Negras road at Itatiaia with the same species. Araucaria Tit-Spinetail and Black-capped Piprites are much more common here than at Itatiaia. Hellmayr's Pipit Can also easily be seen.
